Introduction

What is Compounding Rewards Yield (CRY)

Compounding Rewards Yield (CRY%) is a new way in which Plutus customers can  earn rewards. For simply holding onto your PLU (also known as ‘stacking’), you can earn yield on it.

How much CRY can I earn?

The percentage yield you earn depends on your Reward Level. Check out the table below to see how much you can earn, and try out the rewards calculator.

Please note that more Reward Levels are coming, including Noob, which lets you start earning CRY with as little as 1 PLU stacked, and Titan for those aiming to grow their stack exponentially.

Progress Updates

Tracking is Live

CRY tracking has been live since 1st August, 2024. Customers who stack PLU from that date onwards are eligible for payouts.

Dashboard Tracker & Payouts

The CRY tracker on the reward level dashboard will be available in 2024, allowing customers to track their progress, as well as receive daily credits to their ‘Pending’ balance to see their stack grow.

The CRY payouts are limited to 10 years, with the multiplier capped at 5 years. For ease of understanding, this example doesn’t include any rewards earned from card spending, perks, or referrals. It purely showcases how much PLU one can earn via Compounding Rewards Yield, and uses Titan starting with a 50K PLU stack as an example.

Additional Questions

Is CRY sustainable?

Absolutely! Plutus is introducing FUEL, a mechanism that applies a 5% tax on all sales and transfers of PLU. The PLU collected from these taxes is recycled back into the rewards pool, allowing customers to re-earn it. This system ensures that there is enough PLU from FUEL to fully fund 100% of CRY emissions. See validation report from Ernst & Young.

Is CRY currently live?

You may already be earning CRY! We are actively tracking customers’ CRY earnings, and if you're eligible, these will be applied to your account in the future. However, CRY is not yet live on the front-end as development is still in progress. We will keep you updated with any changes and launch announcements.

Important Note: Only customers currently on an existing Reward Level (i.e., Chad or higher) are currently earning CRY rewards. To start earning CRY, you must be on a Reward Level.
