What is PlutusGift?

PlutusGift is a new way to make the most of your PLU! You can redeem 1 PLU for a £/€10 gift card directly within the app. With hundreds of brands across the UK and EEA, there’s something for everyone!

When is PlutusGift being released?

PlutusGift will start rolling out on 30th November 2024 in segments. We’ll email you when you get access. If you haven’t received any communication or don’t see it in the app yet, sit tight—we’ll include you in a future batch!

When will all users have access to PlutusGift?

All customers will receive access to PlutusGift, but it’s being introduced gradually. Reward Level customers will gain access first as part of their VIP status, followed by the rest of our customers.

While we don’t have a specific date for the complete rollout yet, we’re working hard to bring this feature to everyone as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience!

How do I redeem PLU for gift cards?

Redeeming PLU for gift cards is simple:

1. Log in to the app and go to Swaps → Gift Cards.
2. Choose your gift card and check its availability for your country.
3. Review the swap details (fees, expiration, etc.), then confirm the swap.

That’s it—your gift card is ready to use!

Where can I find my gift cards and redemption codes?

Your gift cards are stored in the Gift Card Vault. Here’s how to access them:

1. Log in to the app and go to Swaps → Gift Cards.
2. Tap on the Gift Card Vault.
3. Select your gift card to view its details.

Gift cards include a redemption code for online use and/or a QR code for in-store purchases—availability depends on the brand. Full info can be found by heading to the Gift Card Vault and tapping on a gift card.

What brands are available?

With hundreds of brands across the UK and EEA, you’re sure to find something you like! What’s more, we’re continually adding more brands to provide as much variety and value as possible! You can view all available brands directly in the app.

Are gift cards available to all countries?

Gift cards are available across the UK and most EU countries, except for the following countries that do not use the Euro:

• Bulgaria: Lev (BGN)
• Czech Republic: Koruna (CZK)
• Denmark: Krone (DKK)
• Hungary: Forint (HUF)
• Poland: Zloty (PLN)
• Romania: Leu (RON)
• Sweden: Krona (SEK)

We’re actively working to expand the availability of gift cards to more regions.

Traveling soon? You can still purchase EU-based gift cards and use them when visiting those countries. For example, if you’re traveling to Spain, you can buy an H&M Spain gift card to shop on H&M.es or in-store (if in-store redemption is supported by the brand).

Fees & Usage

What are the fees?‍

You can redeem 1 PLU for a £/€10 gift card. Fees vary depending on the number of gift cards you redeem, and we also offer a selection of brands with 0% fees for a limited number of swaps.

Here’s the current fee structure:

• 0% fees: Available for selected brands (limit of 2 gift cards per brand applies).

Dynamic fees for all other gift cards (limit of 2 gift cards per brand applies):

• 1 Swap: 50%
• 2 Swaps: 60%
• 3 Swaps: 70%
• 4+ Swaps: 80%

Fees are dynamic and adjusted frequently based on volumes. For the most accurate information, please check in-app prior to completing a swap. In Q1 2025, we’re anchoring PLU to a minimum of £/€10, with the aim of reducing fees over time.

Promotional Offer: If you participated in a recent promotional offer, you may be eligible for 100% of PlutusGift fees back in PLU for the month of December. This will be added to your account on 10th January.

Is there a limit to how many gift cards I can redeem?

During the launch and throughout December 2024, you can redeem up to 2 gift cards per brand, with no total limit, depending on what's available in your region. For example:

• 2x Starbucks gift cards
• 2x Boohoo gift cards
• 2x Carrefour gift cards, and so on

If you're in the EU and don’t see enough options for your region, you can also redeem from other EU regions. For more details, check the FAQs.

Are higher-value gift cards available (e.g., £50 or £100)?

Not yet, but they will be in the future! Currently, only £/€10 gift cards are available. However, we plan to introduce gift cards worth up to £/€1,000 in the future, giving you even more flexibility and value for your PLU.

Do I have to use the full gift card value in one go?

No, you don’t have to use the full value in one go! You can use your gift card across multiple transactions as long as there is remaining value on the card. For example, with a £10 gift card you could spend £6 and then use the remaining £4 in a later transaction.

Can I redeem PLU from an external wallet for gift cards?

No, only internal PLU stored within your Plutus account is eligible for gift card redemptions.

Can I use my gift cards both online and in-store?

It depends on the brand! Most gift cards come with a redemption code for online use, and many (but not all) also include a QR code for in-store purchases. Simply go to your Gift Card Vault, select the gift card you want to use, and check the available spending options.

Do the gift cards have an expiration date?

Yes, each gift card comes with its own expiration date, which will be shown before you complete the swap. You can also find the expiration date in the Gift Card Vault by selecting your gift card. Make sure to use it before it expires! It ranges up to 10 years.

Is there a refund policy?

No, all gift card swaps are final. Once issued, gift cards cannot be returned or exchanged for cash or other Plutus credit.
