How do I participate in this promotion?

To participate, upgrade your Reward Level between 22nd November, 00:00 UTC and 29th November, 23:59 UTC. Once upgraded, you’ll be eligible to have any PlutusGift fees incurred during the promotional period returned to you in PLU.

How will I receive the PLU for my PlutusGift fees?

The PLU equivalent of any PlutusGift fees you incur during the promotional period will be added to your Plutus account by 10th January.

How do I upgrade my Reward Level?

To upgrade to a Reward Level, follow the steps below:

  • Log in to Plutus via the web app.
  • Head to Perks → Connect Wallet and follow the on-screen instructions.
  • Ensure you have sufficient PLU in your wallet to meet the PLU requirements of your chosen Reward Level.

Once upgraded, you will receive access to PlutusGift on 30th November and be eligible for the promotional benefits.

How do I redeem PLU for PlutusGift?

Redeeming PLU for gift cards is quick and simple:

  1. Log in: Access your Plutus account via the app.
  2. Navigate to PlutusGift: Head to the Swaps tab and select "Gift Cards."
  3. Choose Your Gift Card: Browse and select the gift card of your choice.
  4. Complete the Redemption: Follow the prompts to finalise your redemption.

Once redeemed, your gift card will be available to use immediately. Please note that this feature is only available from 30th November onwards.

What fee is returned in PLU?

When redeeming PLU for a gift cards, a service fee is applied. As part of this promotion, the full value of this service fee will be returned to your account in PLU.

Is there a limit to the PlutusGift fee coverage?

You will earn 100% back in PLU on all PlutusGift service fees paid during the month of December. Please note that the first promotional month is subject to redemption limits per brand.

Do I need to redeem a specific number of PlutusGifts to qualify?

No, there is no minimum redemption requirement. Any PlutusGift redeemed during the promotional period will qualify.

What happens if I downgrade my Reward Level?

If you downgrade your Reward Level before 10th January, you will no longer be eligible for this promotion and will forfeit your promotional benefits.

What rate will the 100% PlutusGift fee refund be based on for promo participants?

The refund for promo participants will be 100% of PlutusGift fees in December, credited in PLU. The rate used will correspond to the day of each transaction. For instance, if you redeem 1 PLU for a £/€10 gift card on 1st December, the refund will be calculated based on the PLU rate on that specific day. All refunds will be seamlessly credited to your account by 10th January 2025.

Is there a limit on the total number of PLU I can redeem for gift cards?

No, there is no universal limit on the total number of redemptions across all available brands and regions. However, during the initial MVP launch (Beta), a limit of 2 swaps per brand applies. The enhanced version, set to launch in Q1 2025, will include a wider range of merchants and significantly more redemption options, including gift cards valued up to £/€1,000 each.
