Creating a Plutus Account: A Step-by-Step Guide

1.Choose Your Preferred Platform for Sign-Up:
Pro Tip: If you have a referral link from a friend, use it at this stage to benefit from any referral bonuses.
2. Credential Setup:
- Email and Password: Set up your email and password for your Plutus account.
- Reminder: Store your password securely. It's essential for accessing your account later.
3.Fill in Your Information:
- Name: Enter your name exactly as it appears on your official ID, including middle names.
- Mismatched names can cause delays during the KYC verification process.
- Address: Enter your address clearly, avoiding special characters. For best results, cross-reference with Google Maps to ensure accuracy.
- Phone Number: Provide a current and active phone number for SMS transaction confirmations.
4. Identity Verification:
- Pass the KYC (Know Your Customer) Verification Process:
- If your KYC doesn’t pass immediately, don’t worry.
- We’ll check it proactively within 48 hours and manually approve it if necessary. You’ll receive an email notification about the status. If additional information is needed, we’ll reach out via email.
5.Activate Your Account:
- Fiat Deposit:
- You’ll receive details for your associated Modulr account. Use this information to deposit funds and activate your account.
- The minimum initial deposit is 20 EUR/GBP, but you can deposit more if you prefer. This amount is fully available for you to use and it is not an activation fee.
- Note that this initial deposit is done as a card payment, but subsequent ones will be done via bank transfer (SEPA for EUR accounts, FPS for GBP accounts)

- Once set, you’ll be able to access your Plutus Virtual Card.
